Reply with quote | #1 | Brad, Any thoughts about his ideas? You helped me a lot with backhand and serve but forehand has always been a bit unreliable. I have recently been following Oscar Wengers approach of keeping the racquet in front of the body as long as possible and only starting the take-back when you have really worked out where the ball is going to be. My forehand is now a lot simpler and has improved a lot in reliability as a result. Paul |

Reply with quote | #2 | Paul, I am pleased that I have helped you. I do not endorse much of oscars' work but in the case of what u mentioned re: the take-away on the forehand, he is on the mark. and it makes sense that your forehand has improved. Funny enough I have coincidentely been working on the same polish on my own forehand. Kind Regards b |

Reply with quote | #4 | Brad, Yes like you I don't think much about many of his ideas. Interesting that you also find the forehand point helpful as well. Thanks for the analysis offer. Paul |
